Dr. Pradip Kumar Das
Dr. Pradip Kumar Das is working as an Associate Professor and Former Head of the Department of History, Kazi Nazrul University, Asansol, Paschim Bardhaman, W.B., India. His area of Interest is ‘Modern Indian History’ and ‘Tribal Studies’. He did his Ph.D on ‘Socio-Cultural Identity of the Tribes in Durgapur Industrial belt: Special reference to the Santal’ from the University of Burdwan Presently he is doing research on the Socio-Cultural Situation of the Refugee in Bengal. He has already published articles in twenty National and International journals, and twelve seminar proceedings on International and National level. Dr. Das has published a book entitled ‘Durgapur Shilpanchaler Santalder Ostitto Sankat: 1947–2001’.
